For our client in Belgium, near Eindhoven area we are looking for a experienced stablemanager
This private stud farm is looking for a stable manager who will take on all leadership and guiding tasks. On this stable, there are on average 15 – 20 foals and the necessary stallions, mares, and geldings.
What you’ll be doing:
- Motivating, guiding, and supervising the team
- Bringing calm to the stable and having authority over the team
- The team generally handles mucking out stables, but you might step in if needed
- Calling in veterinarians if necessary and supporting them
- Handling light administrative tasks that come with being a stable manager
- Working on weekends if necessary
What you bring:
- Being available full-time
- Knowledge of and lots of experience in working with horses
- Experience as a stable manager
- Understanding of how a professional stable operates
- Experience working with young horses, including training young horses
- Ideally you speak English, and knowing Portuguese would be handy
